Access to clean drinking water remains a challenge in many parts of the world. SMWS’s Water Well Project focuses on installing wells in underserved and remote areas, where access to safe water can drastically improve health and hygiene.
By providing clean water, SMWS reduces the prevalence of waterborne diseases, improves overall health, and lightens the daily burden on women and children, who are often tasked with fetching water from distant sources.
