Eid al-Adha 2026 is expected to begin on approximately 27th May 2026 in the UK, subject to moon sighting. Qurbani is valid on the 10th, 11th, and 12th days of Dhul Hijjah. Donate early to help us prepare animals in time.
Qurbani is Wajib (obligatory) for every sane, adult Muslim who possesses wealth equal to or above the Nisab threshold, the same eligibility criteria as Zakat. This applies to both men and women.
The eligible animals for Qurbani are Sheep or goat (must be at least one year old and counts as one person’s Qurbani), Cow or buffalo (must be at least two years old and counts as seven people’s Qurbani) and Camel (must be at least five years old and counts as seven people’s Qurbani).
Yes. You can Donate Qurbani online. Simply select your preferred country, animal type, and complete your payment. Our team will handle everything else.
We provide fresh Qurbani meat in all countries as the animals are purchased and slaughtered locally.
Yes. It is permissible in Islam to give a Qurbani on behalf of a deceased parent, spouse, or loved one as an act of ongoing charity (Sadaqah). The reward of the sacrifice will, insha’Allah, be passed on to them.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“For every hair of the sacrificial animal, you will receive a reward from Allah.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 450, Sahih Muslim 533)
The Qurbani Project ensures that meat from sacrificed animals during Eid-ul-Adha is distributed to needy families. This project ensures that impoverished individuals can partake in the festive spirit and enjoy a nutritious meal.
For many low-income families, meat is a luxury. The Qurbani Project provides them with essential protein-rich meals, uplifting their spirits and helping them participate in religious traditions.
